In this hands-on class, we're putting a fall twist on one of my favorite projects and creating a Chunky Yarn Blanket in candy corn-inspired colors. You'll leave with an approximately 3' x 5' chunky chenille blanket that YOU made yourself. But this class is about so much more than making one blanket. With over 20 years of experience, I don't just show you what to do and send you on your way. I teach you a skill.
NEW TO CHUNKY YARN? PERFECT.
This class is designed for both beginners and intermediate students. If you've never touched chunky yarn before, don't worry. You do not need to know any stitches or techniques before coming to class. We'll start with the foundations and build from there. If you've already worked with chunky yarn, you're welcome too! You'll have the opportunity to strengthen the skills you already have, pick up new techniques, and learn the little tips and tricks that can make a BIG difference in how your finished blanket turns out. I'll guide you through the entire process step-by-step, but I'm not going to have you sit there and simply copy what I'm doing. I'm going to teach you why we're doing it.

NEVER WORKED WITH CHUNKY YARN BEFORE?
This is the class I WANT you to start with. The Chunky Blanket Class is my foundational chunky yarn class. It's where you'll learn the basic stitches and techniques you'll need before moving into some of the more advanced projects. Once you've learned these skills and you're comfortable using them, you'll be able to register for the Intermediate option on classes like the Chunky Pumpkin, Ghost, Witch Hat, and other projects without needing to attend the additional beginner instruction beforehand. So if you've been looking at those projects thinking, "I want to make that, but I don't know what the hell I'm doing yet..."
