HELLO PEOPLE!!! I'm Janet!!!

For as long as I can remember, crafting has been my happy place or, depending on the project, the reason I’m muttering obscenities at a ball of yarn. Either way, I freaking love it.

I’ve been creating for more than 20 years, and for the past four years I’ve had the absolute joy of teaching chunky yarn, crochet, and macramé classes right here in our community.

And here’s the thing: I don’t just teach projects. I teach skills.

Yes, you’re going to leave with something awesome that YOU made. But I want you to understand what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, how to fix it when it goes sideways and how to do it again without me standing over your shoulder yelling, “Nope. Other loop.”

My classes are hands-on, relaxed (plus a little chaos sometimes), and welcoming, with everything from complete beginner classes to intermediate projects for those ready to level up. There will be learning. There will be laughing. There may be questionable language. And there is a very good chance somebody will announce, “Mine looks nothing like yours!” at least once. Or, "I can't count!"

As a local mom, women’s coach, small business owner, and lifelong creative, I believe making things with your own two hands does something pretty damn amazing for you. It gets you out of your head, builds confidence, brings people together, and reminds you that you are capable of learning something new even when the first ten minutes make you question all your life choices. ;-)

Come learn something. Make something cool. Meet some people. Laugh at yourself a little.

And leave with more than a finished project.

Leave with a skill.
